Inventory→Object Name

This property specifies what to label the object when it is in the player’s inventory. To use it, enter one of the names from objnames.str in the Strings\<language> folder (eg. name_crate).

You can also use this property by entering a definitive name, such as name_bob: ‘Bob the Cook’, but if you use this method you will be unable to (easily) add multi-language support to your FM, as you would have to manually change each named object for each language, rather than just having a copy of objnames.str in each language’s folder. Of course, non-language object names, such as Bob Laffran could be entered without multi-lingual difficulties…
