Allows an object to respond to a specified stimulus, at the specified intensity, by performing certain actions.
Object | The object’s name or ID |
Stimulus | The stimulus to respond to |
Min/Max Intensity | Specifies lower and upper limits of itensity |
No Min/No Max | Removes either the lower or upper limits |
Effect | To many to discuss here. See Act/React Receptrons |
The Effect will only happen if the stimulus is received and it’s intensity is within the specified range. Therefore an object can have two receptrons for a stimulus - one with a low range of intensities, one with a high range of intensities. For example, an object can do one thing if a fire arrow misses it but explodes nearby, and it can do something else if you score a direct hit.
NOTEME Receptrons are processed in the order in which they’re listed on screen, top to bottom.
